What arrived at the lab

The MacBook storage device arrived by mail from New Jersey after liquid damage. When we opened the box, we photographed the intake condition, logged the device, and kept it powered down for bench handling. The outcome was data recovered. In practice, that meant we verified the recovered data from the image and prepared it to go back to the customer on return media. Like our other mail-in recoveries, the completed recovery could be returned with insured UPS air shipping anywhere in the US.
